We’re going to show you how to make the perfect Iced Tea for these summer daze in a pinch – using your home coffee maker!

Of course, you can always make a big batch of tea following the instructions in your tea tube, and let chill overnight – or make a delicious Cold Brew!

But if you’re hankering for some Sweet Tea ASAP – last minute guests, perhaps? – here’s all you gotta do to quench that thirst:

Using your home coffee maker (or however you prefer to make loose leaf tea), double the recipe for tea. (e.g. increase to 2 tsp per 8oz/cup of water)

If you’re making 4 cups of tea, use 8 tsp! (note: this will make almost twice as much tea – 8 cups!)

Brew/steep tea for 5 minutes. Fill your glasses *to the brim* with ice.

Once tea is ready, it will be more concentrated. If you want sweet tea, go ahead and add sugar or sweetener now to hot tea concentrate. Once mixed, pour hot tea concentrate over ice. Approximately 3/4 of ice will melt – but make sure to stir. You’re left with a balanced refreshing, not-too-bitter cup.

If drink isn’t cool enough, add a couple extra ice cubes, maybe a slice of lemon, and enjoy!

We went with our herbal Blueberry Muffin Top blend for the perfect naturally sweet + caffeine free summer treat – but this recipe works great with all our teas!
